I have to find this Blogger account that I followed a long time ago, before my previous Blogger account. I swear when I do find this person, I am going to store the website name into my computer so I will never lose it again. Her words are so powerful and ring so true! But I only know the name of her blog, and not the URL. I must find it.
Speaking of blog titles, when I think about it, a lot of my posts on my last blog were really depressing and annoying and repetitive (because they were depressing and annoying). But that's why I chose the title "In Memoriam." I need a place to store my memories. Somewhere I could write about "that one time" or "this song reminds me of" without repeating the same story to 5 different friends and seeing the same "get over it" look on 5 different faces, or without repeating it so many times that I sink deeper into those memories, deeper into a place that I can no longer be. But Lord Tennyson said it best:
I sometimes hold it half a sin
To put in words the grief I feel:
For words, like Nature, half reveal
And half conceal the Soul within.
But, for the unquiet heart and brain,
A use in measured language lies;
The sad mechanic exercise,
Like dull narcotics, numbing pain.
-In Memoriam, Section VOnce again, welcome to my blog.
